Size:

  • Height depends on the base lineage. Genasi with human parents would usually be about the height of a human while one with gnomish parents would be about the height of a gnome
  • Weight is about the same as the base lineage, as with height
  • Small or Medium size category, the same as the base lineage

Ability Score Bonus:

  • +1 to your choice of Constitution or Wisdom

Speed:

  • Walking speed is equal to base lineage's walking speed
  • Does not get any other speed from base lineage
  • 20 ft. swim speed
  • At level 3, a Water Genasi's swim speed increases to be the same as their walking speed

Senses:

  • 60 ft. Darkvision
  • Fog, clouds, and murky waters cannot not obscure your vision

Traits:

  • Cold Resistance: You have resistance to Cold damage
  • Amphibious: You can breathe air and water
  • Call to the Wave: You know the acid splash cantrip. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the create or destroy water spell with this trait. Starting at 5th level, you can also cast the water walk spell with this trait, without requiring a material component. Once you cast create or destroy water or water walk with this trait, you can’t cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast either of those spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this lineage).
